At first she thought something was wrong with Merlin, but the vets couldn’t find anything wrong with him, instead she discovered that her cat actually has the loudest purr in the world… Even louder than a dishwasher or a shower!
Merlin was adopted from an animal rescue center and his purr amazes everyone!
“Occasionally when he’s really loud I have to repeat myself. When you’re watching films you have to turn the sound up… If he’s eating he’ll purr loudly. I can hear him when I’m drying my hair,” Said Tracy Westwood.
“If he’s cleaning he gets louder and sometimes if the telephone rings I do get people asking me what’s that noise in the background, I tell them it’s the cat but I don’t know if they believe me.” When tested with the iPhone app, it’s actually over 100 decibels!
